Kip short i book 4

Kip is a cool kid. His dad is Sal, the cab driver.

Most mornings, Sal is up and ready to take Kip to school. But not this morning; Sal looks a little green. Did Sal stay out too late at the show? It looks like Kip is on his own. He checks his phone for the time; it will be close. He dashes off! 

Kip contains 25 pages of short a and short <i> CVC words with a sprinkling of double final consonants as in miss. Since double consonants are easily decoded, and we are not asking them to spell, I feel students can manage these words.
