These brightly illustrated, contemporary books have even the youngest reader engaged. For use with direct, explicit instruction. Designed with Orton Gillingham practitioners in mind, but perfect for classroom or home reading. These books are approximately 25 pages, with large text on one page and a corresponding, colored illustration on the other. They consist of CVC short vowel words, no blends or digraphs. Also included are a few nonphonemic words, such as the, which are listed at the back of the book.
