These brightly illustrated, contemporary, controlled, decodable books engage even the youngest reader. For use with direct, explicit instruction. Designed with Orton Gillingham practitioners in mind, but perfect for classroom or home reading. These books are approximately 25 pages, with large text on one page and a corresponding, colored illustration on the other. They consist of CVC short vowel words, no blends or digraphs. Also included are a few irregular words, such as the, listed at the back of the book.
